Weekly Networking
One of the Chamber's many networking opportunities occurs almost every Friday moening at 8:00 am. The weekly events are hosted by and at a different business each week bringing an average of seventy business leaders to a new business each week. Coordinated by the Chamber Ambassadors, they go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome with a special focus on introducing new people to the group to get them started on their relationship-building journey.
The events are lively and entertaining providing a great way to jump start a Friday morning, making it easier to build relationships that can at some point turn into business customers. About once a month the Ambassadors will host a Speed Networking event, providing a venue large enough is available. Speed Networking is very popular and a great way to meet even more people.
An offshoot of Friday moring Networking is Lunch with the Chamber. Also held on Friday, Chamber staff publish a schedule and invite any Chamber member to show up at the location around 11:30 am and just have lunch as a coordinated way of showing support for our many graet restaurants in Lake Oswego. There is no formal structure. Just show up alone or with a group, identify yourselves as Chamber representatives and enjoy lunch.
